Located in Camden County, Voorhees Town Hall holds municipal departments, resources and information about local Voorhees municipal practices for residents. The design was based on an updated contemporary style to provide the visitors, residents, and municipal employees a comfortable and pleasant experience; The design had an emphasis on a client-friendly design for easy wayfinding while designing an attractive and durable corporate inspired interior environment for the safety for all building occupants.
Our design of the town hall was based on the program’s three levels of circulation:
1. Public Circulation
2. Staff Circulation
3. Restricted Circulation (For the judge and occasional prisoner circulation)
The design included the Township Offices for Statistics, Tax Collection, Clerk, General Assistance, Administration Offices, Court Room, and Public Concourses.
The 23,000 sf project had received accolades for its adaptive reuse of former vacant retail mall spaces into a new state of the art town hall that has become a significant component to the re-gentrification of the property.
